The active ingredients in Adams Plus Flea and Tick Spray (Etofenprox, (S)-Methoprene & Piperonyl Butoxide) kills fleas and ticks, as well as the continuous killing of flea eggs laid on the animal, breaking the flea life cycle.

What are the side effects of Adams Plus Flea and Tick Spray?
Discontinue use if side effects like hypothermia, tremors, ataxia, excess salivation, agitation, and vocalization followed by lethargic behavior, or skin and eye irritation occurs in varying degrees.

How can I store Adams Plus Flea and Tick Spray?
Store away from children. Do not store near heat or open flame.
1) Cover the animal's eyes with a hand. Do not spray directly on mouth, nose and eyes. Spray head, ears and chest until damp.
2) With finger tips, rub into face, around mouth, nose and eyes.
3) Then spray from the neck to the tail, finishing legs last.
4) For best penetration of spray to skin and on heavily coated animals, direct spray against the natural lay of the hair, spraying the ruffled hair directly behind the hand.
5) Make sure the spray thoroughly wets ticks. (When used on miniature and toy breeds of dogs or on cats, towel dry the animal after 1/2 hour if not totally dry.)
6) Repeat treatment every 3 months. Avoid contact with genitalia.
