What special precautions are there?
Use only as directed by a veterinarian. Always consult with a veterinarian before use. Phytonadione will not counteract the anticoagulant action of heparin. Failure to respond to Vitamin K-1 may indicate that the condition being supplemented is inherently unresponsive to Vitamin K-1. Temporary resistance to prothrombin-depressing anticoagulants may result when larger doses of Vitamin K-1 are used.
