Terramycin Ophthalmic Ointment is an eye ointment containing Polymyxin B and Oxytetracycline. Safe for use in horses, cats, and dogs, it can be used for conjunctivitis, pinkeye, corneal ulcer, and other infections that are both ocular and superficial.

What are the side effects of Terramycin Ophthalmic Ointment, 3.5 g tube?
There is no expectation of side effects of a serious nature. Application may have some stinging. There is the possibility in cats of a potentially fatal reaction due to an allergy. If your cat experiences difficulty breathing, facial swelling, or itching, call your local emergency room or veterinarian immediately.

What special precautions are there?
It is possible for occasional allergic reactions to this medication. Discontinue treatment if your pet experiences a severe reaction.

If overdose contact your nearest pet hospital immediately.
How can I store Terramycin Ophthalmic Ointment, 3.5 g tube?
Store in a dry and cool environment. Do not exceed 25°C (77°F).
Helpful Tips:
Resistant organism overgrowth may occur when using antibiotics including oxytetracycline. This includes staphylococci, and Monilia. Take immediate action if you observe new or additional infections during treatment or if fungi or non-sensitive bacteria present during treatment.
