Product Description
Terbutaline is a bronchodilator used to treat or prevent the symptoms of asthma, emphysema, and other breathing conditions. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your Vet.
Sold per Tablet as follows : 2.5 mg Oval Tablet (for whole tablet dosing), 2.5 Round Scored Tablet (which can be broken in half) or 5 mg Tablet.

What are the side effects of Terbutaline Sulfate Tablet?
The medication should not be used in animals with known hypersensitivity, high blood pressure, allergy to the drug, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, heart rhythm abnormalities or those with seizure disorders. Interaction of terbutaline with other medications cannot be ignored. The medication should be used with caution when used in animals taking thyroid supplement (L-thyroxine). Drug interactions with antidepressants and anesthetics are also reported. It is advised to inform the veterinarian or pharmacist about the medications the pet is taking.
