What are the side effects of Marboquin (marbofloxacin) Tablet?
The most frequently reported adverse reactions are related to the gastrointestinal tract: Decreased appetite, diarrhea or vomiting.
What special precautions are there?
Keep away from children and animals. Do not administer Marboquin within two hours of administering any of the following: Foods, vitamins, or minerals containing zinc. Foods, vitamins, or minerals containing magnesium. Foods, vitamins, or minerals containing calcium. Foods, vitamins, or minerals containing aluminum. Antacids. Carafate (Sucralfate). Do not administer Marboquin to pets who may be allergic to this or any other fluoroquinolone antibiotic. Speak with your veterinarian if your pet is lactating, pregnant, breeding, or has seizures or other disorders of the central nervous system.
What to do if overdose?
Contact your nearest emergency animal hospital.
