HyCoat Sodium Hyaluronate 10ml is a patented, sterile solution containing 5mg of sodium hyaluronate per mL, and having a pH of 7.25. The average relative molecular weight of HyCoat exceeds 1.0 million daltons. For dogs, cats and horses.
What is HyCoat 50 mg 10 ml?
Hycoat is used in surgical procedures as a protective tissue coating. Indicated for use in the management of pressure ulcers (stages I-IV), acute wounds (such as cuts, abrasions, and lacerations), first- and second-degree burns, surgically-induced wounds (including donor sites), venous stasis ulcers, autograft procedures, and diabetic ulcers.

What are the side effects of HyCoat 50 mg 10 ml?
May see local reactions including increased warmth or swelling at the site of application. Consult your veterinarian if you notice any of these side effects. These effects usually disappear in 24-96 hours.
What special precautions are there?
Not intended for use as a long-term or permanent dressing. Hycoat® is to be dispensed by prescription only. Not for use in horses hypersensitive (allergic) to any of the components of an injectable hyaluronate product. Do not use in joints where the skin has been recently fired or blistered, or has had counterirritants applied.
