What are the side effects of Cephalexin Oral Suspension for Dogs 250 mg/5 ml?
This medication is usually well tolerated by dogs and is commonly used for several months. Some possible side effects include : lack of appetite, vomiting, or diarrhea. Some pets may experience drooling, rapid breathing, rashes, excitability, or high fever which is rare. Alert your veterinarian immediately if you notice any unusual symptoms or behaviors.
What special precautions are there?
Keep away from children and animals. Use with caution in pets with kidney failure or a history of seizures. Use is not recommended in pregnant or lactating animals. Do not use on Pets whom have had previous allergic reactions to penicillin, other cephalosporins or antibiotics.

Storage Instructions. After mixing with water, the oral suspension should be kept in the refrigerator and any unused portion should be discarded after 14 days. Shake well before use.
